LIFE Clean Up y el proyecto europeo iWATERMAP presentes en la Jornada Técnica: Industria Alimentaria
En la tarde del jueves 26 de noviembre se dieron a conocer los avances del proyecto Life Clean Up y otros proyectos en los que colabora el Centro Tecnológico de la Conserva y alimentación (CTC) y el clúster AGROFOOD. En esta Jornada coordinada desde el Servicio de Formación y Transferencia Tecnológica de la Región de Murcia, con la colaboración del Centro de Referencia Nacional de Conservas Vegetales desde Molina de Segura, podemos destacar el proyecto iWATERMAP, financiado por el programa Interreg Europe, por el empuje que está dando al sector de la tecnología del agua y que puede ser beneficioso para nuestro proyecto. El responsable del Área de Medio Ambiente del CTC, Miguel Ayuso, presentó los avances de nuestro proyecto, mientras que Ana Belén Morales del clúster AGROFOOD presentó las Buenas Prácticas detectadas en el proyecto iWATERMAP, que han servido de ejemplo para el desarrollo de un Plan de Acción regional enfocado en el sector de la tecnología del agua y respaldado por los stakeholders de la Región de Murcia. Se trata de un Plan de Acción enfocado a: i) MEJORAR LA MASA CRÍTICA EN TEMAS DE AGUA; ii) AMPLIACIÓN DEL CAPITAL HUMANO, FORMACIÓN Y EDUCACIÓN RELACIONADAS CON EL AGUA y; iii) INTERNACIONALIZACION DE EMPRESAS RELACIONADAS CON EL AGUA, que incluye diferentes actividades que podrían estar apoyadas por el CTC y el Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia, como son la inclusión de un bloque temático de agua en la industria alimentaria en el Symposium Internacional de Tecnologías Alimentarias, que se celebra cada dos años, y es un punto de encuentro de la masa crítica del sector agroalimentario consolidado en nuestra Región y con impacto internacional.
On the afternoon of Thursday, November 26, the advances of the Life Clean Up project and other projects collaborated by the Conservation and Food Technology Center (CTC) and the AGROFOOD cluster were released. In this Coordinated Day from the Training and Technology Transfer Service of the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the National Plant Preserves Reference Center from Molina de Segura, we can highlight the iWATERMAP project, funded by the Interreg Europe program, for the push it is giving to the water technology sector and that can be beneficial for our project. The head of the CTC Environment Area, Miguel Ayuso, presented the progress of our project, while Ana Belén Morales of the AGROFOOD cluster presented the Good Practices detected in the iWATERMAP project, which have served as an example for the development of a regional Action Plan focused on the water technology sector and supported by stakeholders in the Murcia Region. It is an Action Plan focused on: (i) IMPROVING CRITICAL MASS IN WATER THEMES; (ii) EXPANSION OF HUMAN CAPITAL, WATER-RELATED TRAINING AND EDUCATION and; (iii) INTERNATIONALIZATION OF WATER-RELATED COMPANIES, which includes different activities that could be supported by the CTC and the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia, such as the inclusion of a thematic block of water in the food industry in the International Symposium on Food Technologies, which is held every two years, and is a meeting point of the critical mass of the agri-food sector consolidated in our Region and with international impact.
